Rota, Tinian, and Saipan Forum:  “Meet Your Policy Maker”

On behalf of the disability organizations, individuals with developmental disabilities and their families, the CNMI Council on Developmental Disabilities will sponsor a Forum on "Meet Your Policy Maker".  The Forum will be held on Rota, Tinian, and Saipan. 

The first Forum will take place on the Island of Rota on February 26, 2010 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  at the Rota Round House and the panel will be the  Rota Legislative Delegation.  On Tinian, the Forum is scheduled for March 5, 2010 at the Tinian Dynasty from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.  and the panel will be  the Tinian Legislative Delegation.  Saipan is scheduled for March 26, 2010 at the Saipan World Resort from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and the Panelist will be the Saipan Legislative Delegation.

The purpose of the Forum is to provide education and public awareness to our Policy Makers about CNMI disability organizations, the needs of individuals and families with developmental disabilities.

This Forum will enable our disability community the opportunity to exercise their rights to speak and provide their input on disability issues in the areas of education, transportation, employment, housing and health care.
